Not working for me

I just tried this, but it's not working for me. I installed on 2 different sites so far. Initially they both connected and showed up under domains. However, even though all options were selected, the only Tab that showed (without any actual data in it) was Packages.
Shortly later, when I click on one of the two domains. I get a
"Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

The other is still connected, but also (now over and hour later) only has the empty Packaes tab.
I tried Synchronizing, So it's never work for me yet. This is w/ centry 2.0.11

Thanks for your support ticket. It's really helpful! I've tested the package again, and for me everything works OK. I fixed two compatibility issues for 8.0 though (https://github.com/a3020/centry/commits/master).

So I guess it's depending on the specif environment. Maybe it has to do with recent changes in how the portal stores data. Certain data is encrypted which might take up a lot (!) more space in the database than before. It is possible that one field exceeded the column size; e.g. the 'overrides' section of your 'environment'.

I've made some changes. Would you mind trying again?

Sure. Well now one of the two sites seems to be working. The other (a
dev site on a sub-domain) is listed (but the version and IP show as
"Unknown Unknown", and still no data.

GOOD NEWS. I just tried something, and now it's working. I DE-SELECTED ALL OPTIONS under "External application access" and clicked SAVE SETTINGS, and then I RE-SELECTED all the options and clicked SAVE SETTINGS again. Then I hist UPDATE SUBSCRIPTIONS, and checked the portal, and it's working properly.

Hi Owen,

I'm glad it works now!

By design the add-on won't send any data, it will only 'register' the domain in the portal. If there are sections 'missing' in the portal, it means the API didn't return anything. That might happen if you deselect certain API calls or if the domain is behind a firewall or something.

However, it's a bit strange how this happened. By default all the checkboxes are 'enabled', and once you add the registration token to the form, everything should be saved in a config file.

Did you maybe enter first the registration token manually, in the application/config/generated_overrides/centry.php file?

Again, it's good to know this happened, thanks for reporting the steps you took!

Hi,

There is no firewall in place, and I didn't do anything unusual or
manually. I just setup the add-on and checked in the portal. And then
deselecting and re-selecting the checkbox options as described.
