The clicky tracking code by default includes an badge (an image) that says "get clicky". When you click the 'hidden' button it just removes that part of the tracking code.

Regarding your problem with the tracking data: that sounds like it might be javascript problem. If you have an error in your javascript, the browser will typically abort further processing of the javascript on your page. If this occurs before the clicky (or google analytics) javascript has had a chance to run, then you won't get any tracking data.

Is your site live? Can you include a URL?

www.paullemke.net is my site. Actually the clicky analytics are working but the google ones still are not. should i just drop the google ones? I put the tracking code in the <head> tags so it runs first but still get no analytics.

When did you first add the Google Analytics? GA is not real time - it only updates once day. That's the big advantage of Clicky.
