The only way to stop it would be to kill off the PHP process that's running on the server. That's rather brutal though and could leave you with some inconsistent data. You could try closing the browser, but that doesn't always stop the server process running once it's been launched.
How large is your data set, i.e. how many lines are in your file? Large data sets can sometimes take a while to run through - it's the nature of Concrete5/ecommerce/ADODB database layer unfortunately.
