Cu3er - Fallback image not working

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have tested the Cu3er add-on on a couple of sites and have noticed that the 'fallback' image option just doesn't work.

When switching off the flash and refreshing the browser all that shows up is a broken link symbol. I have searched about on the forums and can't find if anyone else has had the same problem and solved it?

As the add-on is free I can't criticise it but just would like to know if there is a fix?
