What platform do I choose when registering online - using ProBlog and Disqus

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have ProBlog and Disqus and am registering for an account on disqus.com. They want to know what blog platform I am using. They're all brands, and I'm not using them. I'm using ProBlog. My choices are: WordPress, Universal Code, Blogger, Movable Type, Tumblr. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi!

You may try to use all of available platforms.
Disqus is not specialized on only one or few.

If you want to use Disqus with only self-made developed CMS, you can do it.

API of Disqus - is free. You can make modifications and setting up this system for your purposes.

My Disqus - is very basic for your pages and pagelists.
Features only:
Comments for pages
Lists of pages with number of comments for this pages.

I can talk to you, what to this block is very simple to add new abilities and functions. This is carcass for modifications. It absolutely free. But I provide "all-in-one-package" for simple blog.

Blog Entry - page for article with Disqus Comments Block.
Blog Index - page list for blog entries with count of comments.

Our reason to use Disque Comments is to allow customer comments in ProBlog without a login. It sounds like this is what it does, right?

My customer has successfully registered online and Disqus Comments is installed in their site. The instructions I found on another forum said to enter the shortname in the "settings" tab of ProBlog. I don't see an area to do that. How do we activate the comment field for Disqus Comments?

Hi!
I never used ProBlog.

On your image I can see "Page Type" selector with "Pb Post" selected.
Go to "Page Types" in Concrete5, edit page type defaults for "Pb Post" and add Disqus Comments block to this page. In settings of Disqus Comments block enter your Disqus Shortname. In context menu of Disqus Comments block go to options for this block on Child Pages. Select all pages. Now all pages of "Pb Post" type will contain Disqus Comments block.
