Force download dialogue

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I wish this add-on would be able to force a download dialogue for files like html, pdf, txt or image files, instead of letting the browser open associated file types directly without asking what to do (open/download).
Do you have plans to implement such an option in the future?

Thank you,
Michael

Hi Michael,

We are pleased to tell you that the latest version of this add-on does actually force dowload as mentioned. It is available now from the marketplace version 1.0.0:

Thanks

Love it! Purchased! Thank you so much!
This is a very welcome feature, rarely seen with download lists for files on web software.

Cheers,
Michael

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, only the force download doesn't appear to work on Window's browsers (certainly the case on IE and Chrome on Windows 7, but works fine on Chrome in Mac).

I'm running the latest version of the add-on.

Do you have any advice on how I can force these browsers to download and not try to open?

Thanks in advance
