1. How many pictures can be used with each product? Demo showed one.
2. The description field seems very small. Can it be made larger?

There's only 1 thumbnail per product, but it supports a separate page for each product (via link).
And the product listing can be arranged as thumbnails (default) or list (with more space for text). Naturally, the linked page can have unlimited text.
