placeholder for datepicker

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
there seems to be no option for a placeholder text for the datepicker field.
I would like to add an in-field label: "check-in-date" to the field.
How do I do this?
The "default value" field does not seem to allow any other value than a static dd/mm/yyyy entry.
Thanks,
Una

Hi,
any feedback on this?
If a custom Placeholder is not available (as it is for the other form fields), it would be good to be able to at least add a variable date eg today's date to the field rather than a static date.

Thanks,
Una

Hi Una,

Sorry for the late reply....
For now there it's not available, but it will in the next update.

You could change this yourself for now...
Just go with your FTP-client to /packages/formidable_lite/src/Formidable/Element/ and open the Date.php file.
At line 36 there should be something like:
'css' => true

change that to:
'css' => true,
'placeholder' => true

Mind the comma at the end of the first line.

Save and you are able to add a placeholder to the date-field.

Best,

Corretje
