How to display a picture.
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I always worked with Advanced forms and data display and it was pretty straightforward how to use placeholders etc, thanks to the documentation.
The documentation for Formify creates more questions than answers and is quite simple for a tool that seems to offer a lot.
One important question for me is how to display a picture from a record. I tried several ways to no avail. I am really stuck here.
Hope for a quick answer.

Thanks Phil,
for the insight. It's a drag in regard to the old data display, before I was able to have something setup in a few hours. Now I am stuck for days and the deadline is ticking. I almost feel to change to Wordpress and find myself a Real Estate plugin because this is really going nowhere. Without decent documentation and examples the template part of Formify is completely useless. For some simple data display it's great but something more advanced like a real estate listing it's completely useless without proper documentation. Just a waist of money and time.
But thanks anyway, much appreciated.

<img src="{{ field-XX.url }}" >
Best

Yes this was a conundrum for me but I just figured a way to do it. In a form I have a file attachment field (field-149), to display it you need to strip the html which just gives you the plain file name and then prepend the actual file location by using the assign html as below.
{% assign url = "http://your website.com/application/files/3115/3082/4031/" %}
<img src= {{ field_149 | strip_html | prepend: url }} />
Its somewhat clumsy and not automated. I suspect that there is a way of chaining the various liquid template filters that might make it more automated. Until a few minutes ago I had not even released you can chain the filters.
I think there is a way to add a new filter to the version liquid in formify which would automate the process but I am not sure how to do that as I am no developer or even swop to the Jekyll version liquid which has a lot of url filters built in.
Another way is
<img src= {{ field_149 | remove: "<a href=" , "</a>" }} >
this shows the image but also the file name and link still appear
Anyway hope this helps you to investigate further
Best
Phil
