Multiple tabs or an accordion

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello.

Do you support pagination in some way? Maybe using tabs or an accordion to separate sections?

Thanks,
Russell.

Hi,

Formify does have a section divider that splits a form into segments. The form stores the entered data and then advances to the next segment sequentially. Bit I am not sure if that is what you are looking for..

Hi Phil.

Thanks for the reply. Just had a play with the demo and it looks great?

Couple of questions, as there are different scenarios this addon could really be useful for in our site.

Can I enter text between the sections, for instance if I need to add some content (maybe including pictures) that relate to what is entered in the current section of the form?

Can I record the time between the first entry being filled in and the submit button being pressed?

Regards,
Russell.

Hi Russell,

There is no simple way to add text and possibly an image to a section of a form. A simple text/html field with no user input would do the trick. However, no such field exists right now but I imagine the developer could add that easily in the next update.

As to recording the time a user takes to fill out a form that is, I imagine, more complex. The form does have a time stamp feature that lets you know when a form is submitted but not the time to complete a form.

Hi Russell,

The label field will add text without user input to a section of a form if you need it to. I had thought label was perhaps a text field with no user input but I did not realise how to use it. I now see on playing with it more that it can take simple html in the field name. So that will fulfill one of your needs.
