Centering No Crop Layout

I would like to use one of the newer "no crop" layouts for a project I am working on, but the large image does not center itself like it does for the other layouts.
I have already spent time trying to get this to work myself, but have found no easy/elegant way to do it. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies for the delay in my reply, I've just got back in from a 12 day Xmas break.
