Slideshow duration

I've got Gallerific installed and I'd like to make the slideshow images linger a bit longer before moving on to the next one.

I found this code in controller.php...
public $defaultDuration = 5;
public $defaultFadeDuration = 2;

... but changing the values doesn't do anything.

Can anyone help?

Hi Malcom, sure you can manually adjust the delay between each slide by editing the view.php file.

Look for line 143 and you'll see:
delay: 2500,

Simply change the 2500 (in milliseconds) to any other desired number.

Also on line 164, you can adjust the transition period:
defaultTransitionDuration: 900,
