Multilingual Site

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello to all.
I just would like to know, how to set up the GDPR-cookie bar on a multilingual-homepage, if possible.
I am not very experienced with concrete5 yet, as I "inherited" the updating of a homepage.
Thanks a lot for any answer in advance.

The text strings can be translated via the Site Translate interface, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks a lot, I tried to do so... But it does not seem to work.

I installed the german language file, stored it in application/languages/de-DE/LC_MESSAGES/messages.mo
I was able to make the update, the system replied that the language was updatet, but can't see no language file in translate/package/gdpr (my languages).
