Start with Grid Gallery:

Whale Grid Gallery comes with a dashboard gallery generator that makes it extremely easy to use for site admins. You can create your gallery at the dashboard, save that and then use it as a ready-to-go gallery on every page you want. These are steps to use this add-on:

1- After installing the add-on you can see a "Grid Gallery" link in the "Files" box of your dashboard.
2- Click on the link, and you will see list of galleries already made.
3- Go to the page you intend to add your gallery, select "Grid Gallery" block, select a prebuilt gallery and you are done.

How to set up a gallery with filter:

Whale Grid Gallery uses core image tag property for categorizing images. These are steps to add filter buttons to your gallery:

1- At File Manage right click on the image and select properties, you can insert tags. You can insert multiple tags by separating them with a comma.
2- Now at Grid Gallery: Filters tab you can see a list of all tags available. Select those you want to appear as filter button and save gallery.
