This add-on creates a new page attribute that control how every page should be reached, via HTTP or via HTTPS.

This property can also be inherited from parent pages.

You can control the domains for both HTTP and HTTPS requests, and can avoid redirections for users that can edit web pages. Parameters received in GET or in POST are maintained when switching between the protocols.
