I have started using the hidden data attributes and it works great so far. Thank you for this much needed Add-On.

Your Add-On captures the userID and pageID just fine but I would like to populate another hidden field with a variation on the original Username by using jquery to populate a hidden dynamic attribute which is simply a text field. You do not provide a simple unloaded dynamic generic text field attribute.

Do I have to create my own data source? Or am I missing something? Can I populate an empty text input field via javascript or jquery with any of your existing data sources? If not is there a reason you have not provided a hidden dynamic data source for a simple text input field?

Or perhaps I could make it work with your hidden text box attribute but I need to have the ability to add markup attributes to it so I can add a unique class name to it but currently that option does not exist for the non-dynamic attributes.

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your kind words.

You are right, given the possibility to add attributes to use with JavaScript I should have thought of adding an empty data source type. To put it simply: I didn't think bout it :/

This is now fixed. I just uploaded a new version (1.0.1) which adds an empty data source to the dynamic attribute type. You can use that and set the value with Jquery.

Let me know if that works for you.

If you had the time to leave a little review for the plugin that would be really lovely. Other users really rely on reviews to assess the value of a plugin.

Thank you.

Thank you for adding an empty data source to the dynamic attribute type. That works perfectly for what I was trying to accomplish. I plan to add my positive review in the near future.

On another subject. Since you appear to have a high level of expertise working with Express objects can you tell me if it is currently possible to return a single data set from two Express data objects that have associations with each other using builtin Express object functions?

Through code, it might be possible but I haven't done it so I am not sure exactly how.
