is it possible to upload numbers of photos in an FTP folder that is used by the application to add photos to an album?

You can add incoming files in C5.
Add files in the folder /files/incoming of your concrete5 installation.
Then go the the filemanager and click on more next to the upload file option. There you'll find out more!
