Feature Request: Multiple Categories and Display Single Ad

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, thanks for making this, I like the add-on so far. I'm wanting to request the addition of two features.

1) I would like to be able to assign ads to multiple categories.

2) I would like for the display block to be able to select a single ad to display. Allowing me to still track and control the ad from the dashboard, but be able to place one ad wherever I want, without having to create a category for a single ad.

I am interested to hear what you think! Thank you again for making this add-on!

Thanks for the feedback! Adding the ability to select a single ad in the block would be fairly straightforward. We'll check on adding that feature in the near future.

For adding an add to multiple categories - that will take a bit more doing as our database schema doesn't accommodate that and converting it without breaking existing installs would be a little risky. We'll consider that one as well but I'm not sure we will be implementing that feature.

Ok, thank you for the quick response!

That's good to hear about the single ad display.

In regards to the categories, what if there was an additional way to sort ads, maybe by type or something. Basically, I would like to be able to display an ad across multiple sections of the site. That said, these sections also need to have ads that are specific to them.

If you want to download our newly released version 1.1.0 from the Marketplace that should have the Single Ad block as well as the ability to add ads to multiple categories.

Make sure you clear your cache before installing the update.

Wow, that's great! Excellent customer service!

I really appreciate you responding and acting so quickly. Updated and works great!

On a different note, do you ever do custom work? I have this project I need some help on, that I would be interested in talking to you about.
