I'm still quite the novice especially in the PHP area and was drawn to the "Hutman News" plug-in by the positive reviews.

From the start I needed help in solving some PHP defaults to suit our site. Once Hutman had the right info.........problem solved.

I'm ashamed I haven't posted a review until now. I have been using this add-on to display news and press releases on the front page of a major site for years and it has been excellent. I have been able to easily tweak it with css to make it fit into my custom design perfectly. And any time I needed a little help, Hutman has been there for me and very quickly. The support behind this tool is more that you should ask for at this price. This is an un-beatable value!

I had a really wierd, really specific SQL issue when i first installed it (turns out it was an issue left over from a previuous plugin i had) and even though the issue wasn't casued by or directly related to their plugin, they were able to pinpoint it and help me fix it in no time.

I've tried a fair few different news applications, but none of them seemed to suit my needs, but this worked straight out of the box. The code was easy to modify to my needs and it's simple to use in the dashboard. Great support, great product and a great price. :)

Hi, i have been trying to make this addon work for days, when i finally got it i discovered the scrolling is not automatic or animated, i dont like this add on and i think if it going to be a charge for any software there should be some documentation and also clear description of what the software does. i bought it thinking it had some kind of animated scrolling. also i think its quite difficult to understand and use, i found easier addons to do the job.
i would like to ask for a refund please.

I am always looking for new add-ons for the sites I manage and I really like this one. The best part is the flexibility in the layout and minimal styles, which made it much easier to match to my site.

I often get frustrated trying to style add-ons with a lot of CSS features that, in my opinion, are just not necessary. Hutman News keeps it simple, which allows the site design to automatically be applied to the news.

I had issues with the layout initially, but it was my own CSS that was affecting the design. The developer responded quickly (just hours after I asked for assistance) to my request for assistance and helped me figure out what was going on.

I highly recommend this add-on if you're looking for an easy efficient way to display news.
