10Change your directory item's detail page layout

The inDirectory comes with three different templates for the directory detail pages. They are

1)    inDirectory Standard

2)    inDirectory Billboard

3)    inDirectory Billboardslide

While creating a page, the inDirectory Standard will be chosen by default.

To update from the inDirectory Standard to the inDirectory Billboard or inDirectory Billboardslide (or the opposite), all you need to do is:

  1. Visit the page of the directory item you want to edit.
  2. Enter “Edit” Mode.
  3. Click on the block area and click "Design & Custom Template".
  4. Click on the gear symbol in the tool bar that appears.
  5. Click on “inDirectory Billboard” in the Custom Template Dropdown and press "Save"

If you have your caching enabled, you will need to clear it before you will see these changes.

Note: Limitations may exist when adding more than one inDirectory block to a single page. For best results, we recommend limiting use to one inDirectory block per page.

11Update the directory detail page type default blocks

You can update the directory detail page type to contain addtional blocks by default if you wish. An example might be a Call-to-Action pre-footer block, or similar.

  1. Go to the Page Types listing in the admin.
  2. Click on Output button in front of directory detail.
  3. Click on the Edit Default button for the template you want to work on, which will take you to edit mode.
  4. Select the block you want to insert to all pre-created pages.
  5. Click on Setup on Child Pages option.
  6. Follow the instructions as prompted.
Once you complete this action, all new directory pages will contain your new blocks, by default.
