Custom thumbnail size, position with custom image size and zoom?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I've tried the 3 templates, and though nice, I need smaller thumbnails, and control over the size of the image so it lines up nicely

Actually your example at your website has smaller thumbnails that I'm not getting with the templates. Do they work in tandem with the other UI settings? The template seems to override them, is that correct?

Also the option to position the thumbnails right , top and left. I'm no css whiz, but would like some help maybe creating or modifying a template to accomplish the above.

Do you think these these options for filesets and thumbnails will be in the UI soon?

That would be great as well as Ecommerce integration.

thanks.

Hi,
If you want to change the size of the thumbnails, use the editor interface. Here's a screenshot:

The thumbnails should be sized accordingly. The templates should use the same settings.

If you want to move the group of thumbnails, there is a DIV tag wrapping around them with a class of "jqthumbgroup". If you have basic CSS experience, you could float this to the left or right. But, as I'm sure you can understand, I can't provide free general CSS/HTML/JS support and training. If you need paid general training & support, we do offer that.

I haven't got any plans to update the interface for more control over where the thumbnails appear (as that feature was added afterwards after a few requests). I have received several requests about integrating it with the core team's eCommerce package. So that's on my to-do list (which is very long). But I appreciate your suggestion.

Hope this helps.

Hey thanks for getting back. really weird, I couldn't see the text in the ui for thumbnails, so missed it. must be a css conflict, but I can control them now.

I do have some css skills, so will work with that div fo rthe TN alignment.

last is, how can I control the size of the Larger image? Am I stuck with the preset sizes with custom templates when using thumbnails or can ajdust that. the choice between 300 and 500 doesn't always fit.

Goo luck on the ecom integration. i know that will boost sales. is there an upcoming feature list available?

Thanks.

In the custom template just do a search for "300" or "500" and you should see 1 or 2 places (off the top of my head) where you can change this figure. Simply upload the modified file afterwards and you're all set.

I don't have a public feature list/roadmap as I prefer not to provide a timeframe to customers as I don't really have an accurate timeframe. I just work on these addons in my spare time (which isn't very much to be honest), but I do spend time every day answering questions from c5 customers.

Hope this helps
