Magic Data and the block cache
Permalink Browser Info Environment
If you find the block cache is spoiling Magic Data evaluation and are tired of waiting for the core enhancements that will provide selective control of the block cache, the answer is Cache Free Content.
Cache Free Content is a clone of the core content and html blocks, but without any caching. So where you want caching on some blocks and no caching on others, use Content for some blocks and Cache Free Content for the other blocks. Problem solved.

Cache Free Content is currently in the PRB. It will be a free addon, so if you cant wait and want a beta copy, just let me know and I will send you a zip.
In addition to cache free content and html blocks, CFC also provides Magic data enabled and blocks by ajax block templates for the cache free blocks.
