Accordion: Jump to / Link to Specific Tab
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,
Is it possible to jump to / link to a tab when rendered in the accordion view? The tab view works well, but I need a link to open the tab in the accordion view. Any insight on how I can accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I looked into this and the functionality turns out to be already there. Its a while since I used it, hence I didn't remember :-)
If you go to the edit setting global/accordion initial state and select "initially open", then the accordion will open either the first section or the sticky section or the linked section.
If you don't want that as a global option, you can override the setting in a custom template as perhttps://c5magic.co.uk/addons/magic-tabs/developer-interfaces...
I will add a note about this to the problem solving support page.

I have written this up with a little more detail at:

My apologies, I just realized I never thanked you for the prompt response and explanation. Thank you!
In the scenario I was dealing with, I had an overview section, then accordion sections for more info. I didn't want a tab to be initially opened because the accordions depended on a yes/no answer in the overview.
So, in using your explanation, the solution was to put the overview in the initially opened tab, then the yes/no answer opened the according accordion (hah).
Thanks again. Problem solved.
