Issue adding users

Permalink Browser Info Environment
When users sign up for our mailing list, it states "Invalid Email Address". We are using US Air Force email addresses that look like "FirstName.LastName@us.af.mil". How do I over-ride the validation?

the mailing list package used the concrete5 core strings validation helper:
/concrete/helpers/validation/strings.php

try replacing that regular expression with some of the ones shown here and see if that fixes the issue for you:

if it does we should try to get that fix included in the next release of concrete. thanks.

Will the usual email addresses work still (something at something dot something)?

yeah, both the existing regular expression and those ones in that article should work with regular email addresses. Would you rather I test these new regular expressions out for you? (since I'm not that sure how much familiar you are with programming)
