Menu alignement

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

how to get the alignement of the menu changed?
Because in "normal mode" it is left and on mobile devices it is right. And I like to have it othe way around.

Best wishes
Danny

Hi,
Do you have an example url where the menu is being used? I just want to check if you mean the text is aligned within the menu or the entire menu alignment?

Hope you have a great weekend.

The "hamburger" icon will be automatically aligned to the right when it's collapsed in "mobile" mode (as you can seee on my site -http://c5extras.com/). This is a general best practice in usability and layout. Naturally, if you want to customise that, it's perfectly fine. I suggest right-clicking on the element (in Google Chrome) and choosing "Inspect" to see the CSS code that is taking effect. You can then tweak it live until you're happy with it and make the same changes in your relevant CSS files.

If you're referring to the actual submenu items are right aligned, then that shouldn't be the case. Perhaps there's a portion of your theme's CSS that is overriding. In that case, can you please provide a public URL so I can take a closer look?

Hi,
I'm not talking from the "hamburger" icon. I mean the menu bar alignment what is using in "Supermint Theme" the entire wide row and is in "Big-Screen" right aligned and in "Mobile-Size" left aligned.

I thought the Mega-Menu Block has control about itself.
I will create an example and post you the link after.

Best wishes

It's possible the theme contains css which overrides the css built into my addon. If the theme follows c5's best practices, it shouldn't, but it does happen sometimes unfortunately.

It depends on what options you've chosen. I could get a very quick solution for you with a simple public URL to investigate.
If you've used the custom skin, it's built on the fly and outputted to the actual HTML page (so it only exists in the MySQL db). If you're using one of the prebuilt included skins they are saved in the Mega Menu package under blocks/jb_megamenu/css/skins
