Menu loads slowly

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
I am currently creating a website and love the Megamenu! However it loads a bit slow (1 second and longer) and during this time, there is no navigation showing and the logo jumps down a bit which is not pretty. After that second, everything is fine. The rest of the site loads fast (even the slider and appears before the menu does).
Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a fix to this? Maybe copy some of the scripts from the bottom of the site right into the header to make it load earlier? Or are there other ways to speed up the addon (maybe deactivate some features that I don't need, if that is possible)?

The site is currently in development, but you can try it here:http://webhosting-eichsfeld.de/c5-rosdelski/...

Thank you for your help!
Maria

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, and thanks for your patience.

I answered a similar question over here:

Please see if that helps.

Ah thank you for the link! I must have missed that thread. I think, I know where to start now.
