Can't open external webpage in lightbox

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
I just installed the Multimedia Box 2.0.2.2 and I am trying to create an image gallery (from a fileset) that will have the user click on an image to open a link to an external webpage in the lightbox.
I was able to create the gallery from my images in the fileset - that part was easy. But when I click on the image (small thumbnails), all that happens is the same thumbnail image appears in the lightbox.
What I can't figure out how to do is to make an external link open in an iFrame in the pop-up when I click on the image. I see this feature in your demo page (the pop-up for the Concrete5 home page). I saw the note about creating an attribute called "url". I created this attribute and added the webpage link in this attribute to all the images in the fileset, but that didn't seem to work, it created an error message that said "image not found..."
Can you tell me how to make the external webpage open in the lightbox in an iFrame?
Also, when the light box opens for the first image, the Facebook and twitter links appear. But if I click the next button, or image number (2 of 10, etc), the height of the light box shrinks a little bit so that the social media links disappear. This happens in both Chrome and IE9. Any fixes for this?

Thanks!
Kim

Hi,

Thanks for purchase.
It's two different functionalities. You can add gallery from fileset, or links to external page, not both.
In your case, try to use another gallery that can do that.

I'm sorry,

Hi Seb,

Thanks for the quick response. No worries, I thought that might be the case. In your demo of the product, you do show one thumbnail (for Concrete5) that you can click on and it opens the lightbox with the external webpage.

I still haven't been able to make that work correctly (on a single image). I think I'm missing something in the set-up dialog box. How can I create that functionality on my webpage.

Thanks,
Kim

This is not a thumbnail but a icon. The same icon is used for each extarnal link. YOu don't see the icon on your gallery ?
