Dealing Appropriately with Parked Domains

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Good afternoon, you've developed a great system but I'm finding a small issue. Or at least I think it's an issue. Perhaps you can provide a bit of advice on config to get me out of the woods.

I have a 'maindomain.com' and I have a 'parkeddomain.com'. The parked domain used to be the main domain, so some links out there still exist with it.

I have a URL :http://www.parkeddomain.com/page

When someone goe to that URL it pushes them to the homepage on the main domain, not the page they're looking for. This worked fine before 'multiple domains' addon, now it behaves differently.

I've tried to setup the parked domain in the multiple domains system but there's no way that I can see to create aliases of the main domain.

Please advise.
