I have been trying out your add-on and like what I see.
I do have an issue in that it does not appear to behave well on a touch screen such as my iPad. When I touch a nav item that has nested nav items it will usually pop up the iPad's dialog for how it wants me to open the link. And sometimes, but not always, the nested item(s) show up under the iPad's link navigation dialog.
Is this fixable?

The add-on's view only populates a bare nested HTML list (ul/li) and does not provide any styles or js for decorating them. You should either create a template that behaves the way you intend to based on your theme or write required CSS rules to style it.
