FIX: Password page reloads even if password is right; URL redirecting is to blame!

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Just bought this add-on and it didn't work. I would enter the correct password and the page would reload with the password field and no indication that what I entered was wrong. I knew it was right.

After some digging I realized I had a redirect in my .htaccess to remove trailing slashes, so the password I added was getting lost in the multiple page loads.

I copied the single page out to /single_pages/passwordrequest.php and added some PHP to remove the trailing slash (if present) for the form action and now the add-on works as expected.

Maybe that will help someone else.

Great add-on, thanks!

Hi. Thanks for your great fix. I'm sorry you lost some time to change files. I'll surely address this in the next release.

Thanks
