We just bought your package for testing for a client.

I need to know if this issue about multilingual sites has been or will be fixed? If you do not want to fix this, we would need a refund!

Hi there,

The release notes state:

#v0.9.4

* Minor fix (hack) for displaying multilingual pages (other then just the default set language) too in concrete5 version 8.x - this does not affect version 5.7.x;

So should be working. Not at the office right now, so not able to double-check that. Did you install and check already?

Kind regards,

Ramon

P.s. March 13, 2018 is the date this version was released. So it seems to be the fix for the above ticket.

Have to say that we are testing on concrete5 8.5.2RC1 because it fixes some other multilingual issues.

Hey there,

Just tested on version 8.5.0 and 8.5.1 and they both work. These are the latest stable released. I can test it on an RC, but still... and RC is not a stable release and if I make it work on this RC it could be broken again in the next stable release. So I can't really support release candidates if you catch my drift. It's like an alpha or beta, it should be released before it can be fully supported. It's also very strange to be honest if they change stuff and make it a minor release, it shouldn't be 8.5.x still but 8.6 if it's breaking stuff.. Then again, we're still unsure if it's a bug in the core or a new way of working. We have yet to find out.

I'd strongly advice not to use release candidates for live websites at all. Also not for development of your soon-to-be-website. Just always use a stable release, since everything can break after upgrading to the stable release that's gonna follow.

Kind regards,

Ramon

Also just tested on the RC of 8.5.2 and it's working.. So I'm wondering what your setup is here. Can you try in a new fresh install of concrete5 and do the same? I'm guessing your multilingual is somehow corrupted. Are you sure you've set it up right, you sure you have unapproved pages? Eventually I could import an export of your database, and see what's wrong. But for now, I can not pinpoint anything, since it seems to be working correctly. Let me know what you've tried and what worked or didn't work.

OK, let's see what is the feature.

I just went through it again, and technically it actually seem to work. I was confused that it did not show the correct url to the pages (including country code) - See attached screenshot.

Would be nice it you were able to see which language section the pages comes from.

But I will make this up to you to decide if there should be any changes to this.

Pushed an update, probably made it better by adding the visual flags instead (right before the page path). It's version 0.9.5 for your information.

Let me know if that works for you.

Kind regards,

Ramon
