Close Popuap Anchor Text

I purchased your Popup on 1st of October 2014.
I have two question.
1. Is it possible to close the Popup window by clicking on a text link within the popup rather then using the default "CLOSE" button. I tried to use <a class="pp_close" href="#">My OWN CLOSE ANCHOR TEXT</a> but when i click it didn't work ?
2. If the No. 1 answer is 'yes' then how to hide the default 'CLOSE' button ?
Please help.

Thanks for purchasing our add-on. Unfortunately this isn't supported yet. However, we can offer you a paid customisation I'm guessing it would take around an hour @ $90/hr to support and we'll give you 50% discount with the agreement that we roll over this feature in the next release.
