Concrete5 newbie question on how to use Popup Pro

I have Popup Pro installed and the Popup Pro shows as a block type. I want to add a popup that just shows (drop down from the top) on the opening of the project. I am just learning Concrete5 though I have 30 years experience in programming, so everything is quite new for me, and add to the fact that I did not do the original design of the project.
