Edit Popup Block in Popup Pro?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am using Popup Pro to add popup images to images included on my site. But the Popup Pro block only adds a unique block type that contains the anchor for the popup window and nothing else.

I would like to put text around the anchor image inside the popup block. That is, I would like to have a block that includes text with an embedded image, with the text wrapping around the image as you can do with regular HTML, but have that image be the anchor for the popup window.

I know you can put anchor text in the block along with the anchor image, and there are some layout options for it as well, but this is awkward for a large volume of text, and the text does not wrap cleanly.

I do not want just a plain block with an image in it and nothing else. The image goes with other content, but I cannot find a way to get them together. Is there a way to edit a popup block to add text and format it with HTML?

Thanks.

Hi,
You can float the image/text anchor to the left or right fairly easily using the built-in alignment option.
But to show it completely "inline" does require a little tweaking to either the theme or the "content" block (I'm assuming you're using that for the large block of text).

The default "content" block is wrapped in a "P" (paragraph) HTML tag by default, so placing a separate C5 block in between that is fairly tricky. As soon as the "P" tag is broken, a new line is created.

2 options are:
* Adjusting the "P" tag CSS to be "display:inline" (instead of the default "display:block"). You could do this selectively by assigning the content block (before and after your Popup Pro block) with a special class (use the "design" C5 option). THen in your theme's CSS file instruct it to make all "P" tags inside that class to be displayed inline.

Then it should wrap neatly around the Popup Pro block.

It's a little fiddly and requires some CSS knowledge, but is certainly possible.
