New demo works erratically in Chrome

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I'm having trouble running the new demo under Chrome. When the page loads, the popup works but after that, most of the popups shrink to a small dot in the middle of the screen.

Hi, by "new demo" do you mean Concrete5.5?
If not, can you please provide a URL so I can take a look?

I'm currently testing my add-ons for 5.5 at the moment and will have that finished by the end of month.

It's just the demo in the C5 marketplace.

I always use Chrome and have tested this page many times on a Mac and Windows and it's always working smoothly. So my guess is there's a Chrome plugin on your computer that's conflicting with it, or perhaps if you have internet security software. But I'd bet my pair of shoes it's not a bug in the add-on. I wear size 15 shoes, so I'm not sure if you really want my shoes anyway. :-)

Sir, you are correct.

After disabling all extensions and adding them back in one-by-one, I found 2 addons that were (are) causing problems. "Facebook Disconnect" was causing problems so I just removed it but "Adblock Plus" is also causing problems and I don't really want to remove that one. It even causes problems when I 'white-list' http://www.C5extras.com. I have to disable the Adblock Plus addon completely for your popups to work in my Chrome browser. With Adblock Plus as the only enabled addon, The first popup that happens when you load the demo page always works but subsequent clicks produce only a dot in the middle of the page. Troubleshooting Adblock Plus ain't my thang so I'm just giving you a head's up that perhaps there's a conflict and I'll bet my lawn-cutting shoes that the developers of Adblock Plus aren't going to modify their code any time soon.

I've just got back from a 12 day Xmas break and have read your message, so thanks for your patience (I'm normally very quick with my response times).

Good to hear it's working ok now. I'll keep a note that the "Adblock Plus" Chrome plugin is the culprit in case other users are in the same boat.

Hope you have a great New Year.
