The slider will not scroll left and right when clicking the corresponding arrows

Hi ,
I have set the slider options to slide 'Horizontal Alternative' but the slider will only slide from left to right when either the next and previous arrows are selected.
If anyone could help me that would be brilliant as this has been frustrating me for some time.
