Image scales an resizing

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I bought this slider a couple of weeks ago and I have couple of issues I am having with it. Is there any way for the images to resize with correct proportions as the window resizes?

It seems that the breakpoints are supposed to to something similar to that, but I just want to know if this is at all feasible. Currently, the height stays the same, the width slowly closes in, and the image loses some of its area which I do not want to happen.
