Conversation form in Blog
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Pro blog for 5.7 has been a big disappointment and waste of money for me. I'd like my money back!
The conversation form for visitors requires the whole name, e-mail, www-site-address and captcha for sending a message. I don't need all of this and I don't want to tease my blog readers.
Why did you decide on what the form requires, nor let the designer choose from these options? I would expect that PRO gives same alternative options and not just the same things as core.
I want to get rid of these requirements but how? I tried to modify the code, but I'm not a PHP-expert and it didn't work out despite many attempts. It's very difficult to know what's even the right file to edit.
The documentation is really poor too.

you simply need to modify the page defaults for the ProBlog Post page type, and add whatever comments block you like. You can also simply enable Disqus via the problog settings area.
THANKS FOR NOTHING!
"add whatever comments block you like" - this answer does NOT help at all! There is only one comments block available (core conversations block) and you don't offer your own comments block, where one could choose what options to show.
Disqus doesn't make any different in this case, I tried it already.
I don't know how to modify the core conversations block, it's your job to edit it for your customers so, that it satisfies them.
Did you understand at all what I was asking? Have you explored the core conversations block in 5.7 at all, and especially when someone wants to comment without signing up? Because of the problem I wrote to you in my first message, I had to return to use the 5.6. where the conversations block was different.
So I'm still waiting for conversations block, where is no requirements for the whole name, e-mail, www-site-address and captcha for sending a message. I know you can do it, so just send it to me, please!
