Prolog comments setup
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi! Long email to follow, thanks for reading through. Really need help getting comments to work properly on my blog.
I first bought ProBlog last year for a project that I set aside. I am gearing up my consulting practice, and set up a new website. I host on DreamHost. Used their 1click install for C5.
For this website, I chose C5 + Seren and wanted to use ProBlog. For some reason I could not 'find' ProBlog. I looked at your tips on view.php etc. Developer of Seren gave me tips and I realized I needed to purchase a new version of ProBlog and install. OK! Getting somewhere. I converted my Blog page to use a PageList of ProBlog_Post, redid my (3!) posts, and things are looking good--but no comments yet :(.
Problem: When I edit the PB_Post defaults to include a "Conversation" block in the footer area, and enable comments in the ProBlog settings from dashboard, Comments and replies seem to work well on my safari whilst logged in to my site. BUT! I test the site on chrome as I am editing / publishing changes in my safari ... and the chrome browser spins endlessly saying "Loading Conversation" when I pull up any of the blog pages. I tried using the block "Recent Comments" on blog posts and the blog page but didn't like how that was working out; it showed some hyperlinks and some of them were to 404.
Help ? ! ? Thanks!
Chris
