Encrypt error on form submission

I'm getting this error when submitting a form:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mcrypt_encrypt() in /home/syrhuman/public_html/packages/proforms/blocks/proforms_display/controller.php on line 135

Update to at least php 5.3

That doesn't seem to be it. Server is running PHP 5.4.22

mmm...you might need to contact your web host and find out why that php method is not working. As linked above, that clearly is a php method. So, you'll need to ask your web host why it's not working.

Thanks bro. After looking into it some more I think it's because we don't have the mcrypt library installed on the server. Contacting the host now.
