Enter info into a form and have it populate another form

I am looking to have a user enter an address on the homepage and when it is submitted have the user be directed to another page with the address already populated.

How would this be done?

create two forms both sharing the same address question, and then place them on separate pages and point form#1 to page #2 with form #2 on it. Make sure form #1 is set to send the form entryID# over to form #2.
