Hidden User Attribute Usage

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I apologize in advance if this has been asked/answered before, I actually may have brought it up in a previous request myself. But since you're so great about updating your addons, things may have changed. I still have some trouble understanding the concept of the Hidden Page/User Attributes. Let me explain what I wish to do, and you can tell me if ProForms can accomplish it.

I am building a site for a club that has subscribers. They can purchase a membership. With a membership they are given user accounts. When the subscription runs out, they can choose to re-subscribe. When they go to the form to re-subscribe, I would like their existing information to be already filled in. I would like them to be able to change/add any additional information and when they make the purchase, have their user account updated.

Can ProForms accomplish this? The issue is that we are also considering the ProEvents/ProForms combo form for event registration.
