Use Encryption Wrapper for Data

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Would it be possible to use the C5 encryption and decryption wrapper for the data that is put into forms and inserted into the database for ProForm or would this be problematic. I frequently have requests from clients in certain industries that have a need for SSL pages that would have a form and need private data stored in the database. ProForms would work nicely because you could send an email notification to the site owner without the data in it to notify them an "application" has been received and then if that data could be encrypted into the database it would create a semi-secure way for that form data to be collected. Wouldn't of course be using this for credit card numbers, but for private data that would need a little bit more security than a C5 form block could give. Would it be overly complicated to encrypt and decrypt the data using proform?
