Moving the thumbs (film strip?) closer to the Main Image

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Tony,

I've bought the add on and think its great and I have it pretty much how the client wants. I've tweaked quite a few things but I can't work out how to nudge the filmstrip closer to the main image. Just lessen the gap a little.

Can you direct me to an appropriate handle or tag to set a margin or something here?

Also I have made a templates folder in /blocks and have an alt_view which I'm using, but what about the css which I have changed considerably. If it gets updated I will lose this won't I?

er sorry about this Tony but I found the line you suggested as the second line in the css, which looks like this:

.proPhotoWrap .mainImage { text-align:center; margin-bottom:5px; }

Replacing or adding it with this:

.proPhotoWrap .mainImage { margin-bottom:4px !important; }

made no difference at all. Im probably looking at the wrong thing.

Sorry to be so thick...

maybe I misunderstood what you were asking. can you post a screenshot with maybe something like a red circle around the gap you're trying to shrink? a link would be helpful too.

you've got a conflict with the .spacer class, where you're defining it with a large fixed height. try doing something like this:

.proPhotoWrap .spacer {
clear:both;
font-size:1px !important;
height:1px !important;
line-height:1px;
}

also notice that this image has the black bottom as part of it:http://dev.touch-akl.com/codi/files/2912/7854/6597/test_1.jpg...

(that art makes me miss new zealand :-)

Oh right, so the spacer class I'm using in the markup.

So If I incorporate the spacer class with proPhotoWrap I should be OK.

Thanks for that I appreciate it.

Yes the art is from a local design group that do linens, cards and wallpapers and things. Its all pretty NZ oriented and they have some nice stuff.

You've been downunder then?
