No log out (logout link disappears)

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I'm using the Foundation5 theme (great theme), and have put the Register User Pro block in a footer area.

When I select "Hide Register/Login/Recover Form When Logged In" by checking the box, the text I type in appears in the block--which is great. However, the "Logout" text and link disappears. Yes, users could just close the tab or window, but I would like to give them the option of logging out and being sent to the home / splash page.

Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Is what I'm trying to achieve possible?

Your block is great, by the way.

Hi John,

You are not missing anything that is just how the block works by hiding everything and just displays the message. Anyway we do offer paid customisation and will be sending the quotation to you via Private Message.

I really like the add on because I have 3 different member areas in which to log in to (and out of), but i've had the same issue for logging out. Personally, I thought it should come with this feature, so I have been confused all along because it does have the option for "Show Log Out Link When Logged In" (Log In Tab settings), and there is an option to direct to a particular page at log out, (Log Out tab settings) - which I have been setting and saving, but it never keeps that setting and instead reverts to the same page setting as the "Redirect After Registration" page in the Registration Tab. (but that doesn't matter anyway either because logging out could only be done via the Navigation bar so each log out (from any member side) automatically got directed to the C5 log in page from the main part of the site. (I thought I was having a Theme Issue or something).

So, thanks John for posting this question, because now I am understanding that if Register Pro clients would like to also have the Log Out option in the block Editing work (and appear) then we need to purchase additional customization.

Q: Does this customization also include basic (easy) options or instructions for overwriting the C5 basic navigation settings/pages and navigation settings in Themes?

Thanks JZ - would you also send me a pm about the additional cost and customization process?

Hi

I'm currently discussing this with the owner of C5Extras. I'll get back to you on this.

Hi

Regarding your question about the C5 basic navigation are you talking about the Auto-nav block? If so it would be a different customisation. We do offer paid customisation and support other add-ons as well. So if you could PM me the details I would be able to give you a quotation on it.

Hi JZ,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm glad to learn that it's not me doing something wrong or misunderstanding how Register User Pro works.

It's a great add on. Thanks for also contacting me by the C5 message system.

Hope that helps.

I updated, but still having the same issue.... when I add the "log out" page to the original form, the dial keeps circling. (I even tried creating a new form- which it will "save", but as soon as i go in to double check the setting, it is set back again to the default page, not the log out page), any suggestions? thanks for the help.
