Identifier fID is missing for a query

After initially rescanning all files at memory_limit 100M I've increase memory_limit to 2048M. Still the job couldn't be completed.

Now, when I manually try to rescan more than one file in the backend (rescanning a single file works) I get this error message:

How many thumbnail types does your site have?
One of the reason why it could cause the memory error is having too many thumbnail types.

Can you tell me what kind files are you trying to scan?
For example, large images could have memory error.

Even if you increase the memory_limit, that's only PHP setting.
You still need to deal with the actual memory limit of the server.

Hi,

Sorry, I didn't see the bottom message about thumbnail types.
That's a lot of thumbnail types...

However... by reading carefully about your error message, it may not be the memory issue.

Error is fID is missing.
So there may be a chance that you've deleted some files or database gets corrupted.

What I would do is..

- Make a copy of the site.
- Find out where the scan job stops (it should show XXX out of XXX files while processing)
- Using the copy site, try to delete around 100 files around those files.
- Try to run rescan job to see if it succeed.

Eventually, you will pin-point which fID file is corrupted.
