Additional field in Backend for a css class name
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
Image map is a great extension, thanks for it !
Question: can i change your code without having trouble with the licence agreement?
Otherwise or for the future, i would recommend to add a new field for the image map item, to place a css class name into the map link.
Reason: in connection with the "webli content popup" extension user are then able to show a popup with defined content by placing this class into the map link.
Or user can specify with this class whatever they want.
Best regards
Gerhard

you're welcome to change and modify the copy of the add-on you have as much as you like as far as I'm concerned.
The only consideration to make is only in terms of updates I may make to the add-on in the future and how you'd apply those updates. You'd have to keep track of what you've changed and do any merges yourself.
Alternatively, if you make these changes to your copy, I'm happy to then update my copy of the add-on and push that update to the marketplace.
