Can't locate where the CSS kept - step by step instructions please...

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Forgive my ignorance but have been trying to follow your very scant information on how to apply this. I can't trace where the CSS is kept. You really need more instructions here. My old brain can't be forced to work things out so much with a product! Could you please tell me where the CSS code is written to? Or how should I overide it?

Hi Charles,
Thanks for purchasing the add-on. The location of the CSS file in your site theme will depend on which theme you're using and how it's structured.

An easy way to find the location of your site's CSS file is to look at the source code of your page. Do a search for ".css" to find all the CSS files in use. Naturally, there will be a couple uses by the core of Concrete5, but you're likely to find a CSS file located in a "packages" or "themes" folder - this is the one you want to modify.

If you're using Google Chrome (which I highly recommend), you can simply right-click on an area of your site and choose "Inspect Element". This will help you analyse the CSS formatting for certain areas of your page. It does require a bit of CSS knowledge.

I always provide free support specifically for my C5 add-ons, but not general HTML/CSS/JS/C5 support. But if you send me a link to your page and let me know what you're trying to modify, I'll help you out.
