Permalink Browser Info Environment
Good morning,
Does this add on use SagePay protocol V3? Previous versions will not be supported by Sage after 31/07/15

Yes, this Sage Pay add-on currently uses the latest Sage Pay Protocol V3.00

Let us know if you have any more inquiries.

Thanks,

Hi Datasouth,
Sage are making some changes to their certificates at the end of May, will this effect the add on?

E-mail from Sage: "we will shortly be upgrading our SSL Security Certificates by removing our current SHA-1 certificates and replacing them with SHA-256 based certificates (a version of SHA-2 certificates).

To avoid any disruption to your integration you’ll need to ensure that your Sage Pay integration is capable of working with the SHA-256 algorithm and support for SHA-1 will be disabled when we switch.

As part of this we will be updating our services to require TLS 1.2 for all HTTPS connections.

Cheers,

Nathan.

Hi Nathanfriend,

Apologies for the late response as I was on leave for personal reasons.

I've checked on the certificate upgrades and it will be dependent on the server your website is being hosted on. It does not directly affect the add-on.

You can check if your server supports the SHA-256 based certificates by looking into the links below, or you can call your Web Hosting Provider and verify it with them.
