How does this work with caching? will the cache override and display outdated material?

Not user what you mean.. Why should it show outdated material?
Product suggestion. Would it be possible to add an option to show certain stacks of ads for different categories? So basically it would recognize the category, or topic of the page as defined in the properties of the page and then display the appropriate ads?
